About
Festival proudly showcases premieres from acclaimed directors as well as screen undiscovered and unknown films by first-timers- our goal is to screen as many films as possible within the festival's time slot, giving more filmmakers the opportunity at exposure, and giving your film the leg up on sharing your work with the world. The festival shall award cash prizes to the filmmaker(s) whose films receive the audience and/or juried favorites. The festival works in conjunction with the Palm Springs Cultural Center.
Awards
For the Film Fund, competing filmmakers can win up to $50,000
Rules
- Festival accepts submissions from around the world and from filmmakers everywhere
- Film Fund competition: Projects must originate from U S A
- Film submissions must not have played at any other festivals within a 70 mile radius of Palm Springs, California
- The film should not be more than 3 years old, though in certain circumstances, a retrospective may be screened and/or a "hidden gem" never seen before by public
