The Short Waves Festival takes place every year in more than 30 Polish and some international cities, and focuses on the promotion of Polish short films, inviting the audience to vote for their favourites.

Awards

• 1st International Competition Award – PLN 12 000 (around EUR 3 000)
• 2nd International Competition Award – PLN 8 000 (around EUR 2 000)
• 3rd International Competition Award – PLN 4 000 (around EUR 1 000)
• The jury may also grant honourable mentions
• International Competition Audience Award — PLN 4 000 (around EUR 1 000)

Rules

• Film mustn't have been finished before January 30, 2022.
• The form of the film and its topic are not subject to any regulations.
• Films may be submitted to the Competition only by means of Filmfreeway.

Documents and required items:

• A completed entry form on FilmFestivalLife
• A preview copy of the film with English subtitles
• A dialogue lists in both the original language and in English that include time codes, in the SRT file (no hardcoded subtitles)
• 3 stills from the film (300dpi)

• The director’s picture (200dpi)
