About

The FIFEM is an independent and competitive Festival whose goal is to promote quality films from around the world to its young audience. 

Awards

The Professional Jury will grant the following awards:

  • Grand Prix de Montréal;
  • Special Jury Award;
  • Best short film.

The Children’s Jury (composed of five children aged from 10 to 13 years),will grant the following awards:

  • Le Grand Prix de Montréal;
  • Special Jury Award;
  • Best short film.

The INIS Prize
People’s Choice Award

Rules

  • Films must have been produced after December 31st, 2020;
  • The film should not have been commercially released or shown on television in Canada before its screening at the Festival;
  • Industrial, advertising and educational films are not eligible for competition.

  • Send DVD with submitted film by mail. You can also send us a link.
