Chicago International Film Festival presents Cine Youth Festival.
Imagination. Education. Celebration. The CineYouth Festival , presented by Cinema/Chicago and the Chicago International Film Festival celebrates the work of filmmakers 21 years old and younger, highlighting the creativity of the next generation.
Festival featuring public screenings of officially selected work, hands-on workshops, and an exciting Opening Night presentation (guests TBA).
Approximately 100 films are accepted to CineYouth, and submissions are accepted from US and international filmmakers.
Awards
Up to two films in each genre category will be awarded a «Best Of» honor. Junior Division winners are students 16 and under. Senior Division winners are students 17 and older. Both «Best Of» films will be screened at the 54th Chicago International Film Festival.
