From August 3 to 7, 2022, Moscow will host the All-Russian Short Film Festival "Dream", organized on the initiative of the legendary film director Alexander Mitta. The festival is planned to be held off-line at the best film venues in Moscow with a parallel online broadcast.

In Russia, dozens of film festivals are held annually, including those focused on the short film. However, the Dream Film Festival is not just another film screening. This is a real educational and practical laboratory under the guidance of masters of foreign and domestic cinema.
"Thousands of talented film school graduates have become filmmakers, created many short films, and our festival is a great opportunity to show these works, choose the best ones, encourage participation, enthusiasm and results that you can be proud of," says the president of the film festival, Gennady Ivanov. "The Dream Film Festival is a celebration of communication in a unique atmosphere of professionalism, mutual understanding and support, which we create so that everyone believes in their own strength on the way to the dream."

The All-Russian Short Film Festival "Dream" is of particular interest for the largest film companies and production centers. It's no secret that they are actively looking for talented guys whose "cinematic innocence" is not vulgarised by industry cliches, not spoiled by multi-million dollar budgets. They are looking for just such authors who have not forgotten how to dream.

Awards

Based on the results of the voting, the jury will determine the winners of the film festival in the following categories:
• Best Film (Grand Prix),
• Best Screenplay,
• Best Director,
• Best cinematography,
• Best Performance by an Actor,
• Audience Award,
* Special Prize of Alexander Mitta "My dream»,
* Special prize of the General Sponsor of the Festival.
Screenings of participating films and discussions will be held in an open mode for everyone.
The winners will receive a statuette-a symbol of the All-Russian Short Film Festival "Dream", a diploma, as well as valuable gifts. The finalists will receive a diploma of participation and a certificate for free passage of any workshop (directing, screenwriting, camerawork, production or acting) from the Film School of Alexander Mitta.

Rules

- removed between 2019 and 2023
- timekeeping up to 20 minutes
- it is a complete version (editing, color, sound)
- the language of the film is Russian
- has subtitles in English

The deadline for accepting applications for participation: from 15 April to July 15, 2023.

Premiership requirement:
To participate in the festival, the screening of the film does not have to be a premiere.

Participation in the All-Russian film Festival "Dream" is free. Admission is free.
