International Women's Film Festival in Vancouver.
About
Each year the Vancouver Women in Film Festival (VWIFF) has showcased an impressive line-up of short and feature films (narrative, documentary, experimental and animation) by established and emerging women filmmakers from around the world.
The four day celebration is organized by Women in Film and Television Vancouver, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1989 to celebrate and promote women working in screen based media. In addition to offering independent filmmakers a professional screening opportunity, the festival pays artists fees to all filmmakers, and all films are entered to win cash awards.

The Matrix Award is also presented to the top three BC short films in the festival with each receiving a plague and a gift certificate from Matrix Production Services.
