About

Silk Road International Film Festival (SRIFF) is held annually during the month of March in Dublin, Ireland.

Founded in 2012, the Silk Road International Film Festival (SRIFF) is fast becoming an international acclaimed film festival which is held annually during the month of March in Dublin, Ireland. The festival also holds year-round screenings, talks & events.

SRIFF celebrates world cinema where we discover new films and voices from around the world.

As well as screening international films there is a special selection of films from the “Silk Road”, countries part of the historical network of the Silk Road ancient trade routes. The selection called “Belt & Road” includes Asian, Arab, Middle Eastern, African, Mediterranean and European cinema.

SRIFF identifies emerging international talent and connects them with audiences and industry.

Rules

  • Films must have been produced during the production years 2019, 2020, 2021.
  • All films must be submitted via one of three accepted formats: Digital upload via Silk Road International Film Festival website, FilmFreeway, or a Vimeo link entered directly on the submission application, or mailed to us on a single disc (Blu-ray or DVD). 
  • The final screening copy of the film can only be submitted in one of the following formats: 35mm print; HDCAM tape; Digital Betacam PAL tape; Betacam SP PAL tape; Pro Res Digital File: H 264 Digital File or DCP, BLU RAY Disk or protected link. 

Subtitle language: English.
