Sheffield Doc/Fest

Фестиваль документального кино в Шеффилде.

About

Sheffield Doc/Fest combines a non-competetive festival which is open to the public with a conference restricted to professionals. About half the event is dedicated to sessions, pitch competitions and master classes. Topics range from new trends in television content to opportunities for theatrical release.

In 2006 the “Meetmarket” was established, a new pitching initiative, designed to match documentary makers’ most innovative project ideas with international and UK buyers. Due to its small size, Doc/Fest offers very good networking opportunities and increasingly attracts major international buyers.

  • For competition nomination, the Festival gives priority to World Premieres and, secondarily, International and European Premieres. To be selected for the main programme strands, a UK premiere is required at minimum.
