Children's Film Festival Seattle is an annual, competitive, international film festival presented by Northwest Film Forum, a non-profit organization dedicated to programming and supporting independent film and video.
Northwest Film Forum is dedicated to showing the best in world cinema, including the latest work from the world's most revered filmmakers, classic films from the canon, exciting new work from directors in Seattle and around the world, and the highest-quality films for family audiences. Last year, Children's Film Festival Seattle screened more than 167 films from 47 countries.
Awards
Children’s Film Festival Seattle has a 30-member Children’s Jury. The Jury views a competition selected by the Festival director, and awards prizes in the following categories:
The Most Popular Film of the Festival is selected based on audience votes collected after each screening.
An additional jury, comprised of patients at Seattle Children’s Hospital, also selects a favorite live action and animated short film for awards.
