Imagine Science Film Festival

About

It is an innovative film festival based on scientists’ and filmmakers’ desire not only to effectively communicate science, but also to transform scientific ideas into something accessible and creative to the city’s diverse audiences. ISFF will encourage artists and filmmakers to explore the potential of science, technology and medicine in cinema. It also will give scientists the opportunity to learn about the world of filmmaking and to realize the creative potential and accessibility of their work.

Awards in categories Documentary and Shorts:

• Scientific Merit Award. Cash Award Value: 2500 U.S. Dollar; 
• Audience Choice Award. Cash Award Value: 1000 U.S. Dollar; 
• The Scientist Award. Cash Award Value: 500 U.S. Dollar; 
• Honorable Mention.

Rules

• SUBMISSIONS need to adhere to the underlying requirement of IMAGINE SCIENCE which is that science and/or scientists need to be presented in a narrative framework - in a compelling yet credible manner.
• No requirement for completed by date.
• Submit via Filmfreeway system.
