Festicinekids Cartagena

About

The Festicinekids Foundation was created in 2008 with the purpose of educating impoverished children, who have been affected by the violence in Colombia, through the art of cinematography in Cartagena, Colombia and South America. An annual film festival is organized in the month of September, where children & youth are educated and trained by experts in the film industry, attend workshops and seminars on short film-making and audiovisual products, conferences with prominent national and international actors, directors, and journalists.

Thematic: Festival will address the issue of new identities of young and children, arising as a result of the relationship that children and adolescents have established with film. In this sense, the film samples, training spaces and recreational programs will aim to show new ways for child proposals for film.

Rules

• In the competitive sections may only enroll works created between 2019 and 2021. 
• Short and feature films addressed to kids, teenagers and young people between 8 and 17 years of age;
• All genres and formats will be accepted.

The registration form can be done in the following ways:

• VIA FESTHOME.COM: This way involves filling out and sending the registration form. The card should be sent a screener of production falls;
• VIA-MAIL: This involves filling out the registration form which can be downloaded from www.festicinekids.org. Registration forms must be accompanied by five (5) copies on DVD or Blu Ray, synopsis of the film, sheet, sales abroad, address, phone, fax, e-mail, festivals or competitions in which he participated and relationship awards; photos of the director, the film and the actors and director biography and filmography.
• Via e-mail: Those who choose this option to register their productions should send mail to inscripciones.festicinekids@gmail.com, the registration form duly completed and a screener of the work through a link on platforms like Vimeo and We Transfer or the like which can used. They should send a brief bio and filmography of director accompanied by a photo.
