The Festival de Cinema Internacional de Merdə de Sueca – International Film Festival-of-Shit from Sueca (C.I.M. Sueca) is the unitary festival of the low budget, independent or non comercial cinema which is based in Sueca (Valencia-Spain).

The C.I.M. Sueca aims to stimulate audiovisual initiatives of the counterculture. It is the home of the unassimilable, the rebellious, the anarchists and the free creators.

Awards

• 1st prize: SHIT (Suecan Horrorous Incoming Trophy) short films (for works no longer than 30 minutes), worth €300
• 1st Prize: SHIT (Suecan Horrorous Incoming Trophy) feature films (for works over 30 minutes in length), worth €300
• MORRALLA award for the worst feature film: 150€
• MORRALLA award for the worst short film: 150€
• CIM Sueca’s management may award any other prizes or special mentions, with no cash prize at all.

Rules

• We accept B and Z series, bizarre, freak, trash, gore, underground, kitsch, D.I.Y or psicotrònic products in both fiction and nonfiction.
• Works in any format and length are allowed.
• Inscription is possible via Filmfreeway.
