Open children's and youth festival "Photography as an image of the world"

About

The "Photography as an image of the World" festival is an online project where young talents open their hearts and souls to us through photography and video works.

This is an educational project aimed at promoting and developing photography and video arts, as well as fostering peace and friendship between nations.

Its main goal is to provide children from different countries and cultures with the opportunity to express their understanding of and relationship with the surrounding world through photographs and videos.

Thanks to the "Photography as a Reflection of the World" festival, thousands of talented children have the chance to showcase their creative abilities in competitions, exhibitions, and film screenings.

The festival is included in the list of city events of the Department of Education and Science of Moscow for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Anyone aged 7 to 21, regardless of their skill level, can participate in the festival.

The festival nominations cover the most relevant themes and areas of creativity.

The jury of the competitions includes esteemed figures in the field of photography, practicing photographers, directors, and distinguished figures in the film industry.

The festival's competitive program includes:
1. The photo competition "Photography as an image of the World," which is held in 10 nominations (https://festfoto.ru/nominations/)
2. The video creativity competition "Video View," which is held in 8 categories (https://festfoto.ru/videos/)

Festival gathers talented young photographers and videographers from all over the world, allowing them to express their unconventional view of the world and show new facets of familiar things.

Rules

 Anyone aged 7 to 21, regardless of their skill level and place of residence, can participate in the festival. 

To participate in the festival, you should to:

• Choose a competitive direction (photo or video contest)
• Upload the work to the website or on the page of the competition directions

Jury and Organizers

The festival is organized by the Hermes Center for the Development of Creativity of Children and Youth and is included in the list of city events of the Moscow Department of Education and Science.

The jury of the competitions includes honored figures of the photographic art, practicing photographers, directors and honored figures of cinematography.
