The festival is included in the list of international film festivals held in the territory of the Russian Federation by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation under number 72 (Order of the Ministry of Culture of Russia dated 27.12.2023 No. 3542).

The festival is an annual selection of educational films and innovative educational content that represent the best practices of implementing innovative methods and technologies in the educational process at all levels of education.

Submissions to the festival can include educational films, animated films, or any form of innovative educational content created using video materials.

The work can be a film, video lecture, program, series of video clips, multi-episode film, complete series of programs, series of program cycles, individual episode or series, electronic educational course for a discipline, electronic textbook, website with educational content, social media account dedicated to education and/or enlightenment, PC software, mobile application, video content for educational simulators, and more.

Diploma and statuette according to the nominations:

1. - Best educational film.
2. - Best educational video lecture.
3. - Innovative educational content.
4. - Best electronic educational course with video content.
5. - Educational content created using artificial intelligence.
6. - Inspiring film idea for upbringing and professional orientation.
7. - Best work by professionals in an educational film.

 Subcategories:

• Best work of the director of an educational film or educational content.
• Best work of the cameraman of an educational film or educational content.
• Best work of the screenwriter of an educational film or educational content.
• Best work of the sound engineer of an educational film or educational content.
• Best work of the artist of an educational film or educational content.
• Best work of the producer of an educational film or educational content.

Rules

The works participating in the Festival must include video materials and can be created using traditional video shooting, animation, as well as using the following technologies:

• Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).
• Interactive multimedia materials. 
• Online platforms and educational applications. 
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 
• Gamification.
• Other technologies.

Works created no earlier than 5 years before the Festival are eligible for participation. In 2024, works created in 2019 and later are accepted.

The working language of the Festival is Russian. Works created in a foreign language must have Russian subtitles or synchronous translation. The organizing committee may accept works with English subtitles for the competition.

Works are accepted via file exchange, in MPEG-4 format. Films in HD quality are welcomed. Other works may be accepted in the form of links to video hosting platforms, websites on the Internet, VKontakte social network accounts, and Telegram messenger. The link to the work must remain valid until the end of the final of the Festival.

One work can be submitted to multiple categories.

Individuals of legal age, author collectives (multiple individuals), and organizations can participate.

Participation is subject to a fee. Students of creative disciplines are exempt from the organizational fee.

Jury and Organizers

The Festival is organized by the Interregional Public Organization "League of Higher School Teachers".

The Festival is co-organized by the Limited Liability Company "Innovative Technologies and Solutions in Education and Science", which provides technical, financial, and organizational support for the Festival.

The General Information Partner of the Festival is the Information Agency "Education.Press".

The Festival is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and certain events are part of the "Golden Names of Higher School" project.
