The Eternity Pictures Film Festival (starting in 2020 in digital format) unites filmmakers from all over the world, opens up new names, inspires creativity and sets standards for the future, acting as a springboard service for replenishing the IP library of Eternity Pictures® and obtaining commercial support. The selection is conducted by global industry experts, and the prize fund is sponsored by the Stan Winston School of Character Arts®. Quality and diversity are key aspects of the festival: this approach allows us to study the entire range of films in accordance with international industry standards in order to discover directors and works that deserve a fair future.

THE FUNDAMENTALS:

Uncompromising standards are based on global industry requirements. Every stage — from submitting an application to voting and awarding — is designed with absolute transparency in mind, because real art deserves nothing less.

Designed for the future: geographical boundaries should not limit creativity. That is why we have rethought the format of the festival — fully digital, universal and accessible for participation from anywhere in the world, while offline events are also planned.

It is not just the masters who are being judged, but the main personalities of the Eternity Pictures® studio. Our jury, which is not only international, but also iconic, evaluates works with uncompromising clarity. The members of the Short Film Academy and other global film academies, led by the senior management of Eternity Pictures, guarantee a transparent and fair approach to selecting the best films.

More than a reward. Exclusivity for cinematographers from Russia and the CIS countries. The festival opens the only official opportunity to review your work for an invitation to rent. Only by submitting a film to the Eternity Pictures Festival do the authors of the selected works get a chance to be invited to digital distribution through our streaming service with content protection on eternitypictures.ru . At the same time, the type of rental (commercial or non-commercial) depends on the conditions of the legal purity of the project. And for the first time in 2026, prizes for the top three winners from the legendary and Oscar—winning Stan Winston School of Character Arts® (SWSCA), which offers an extensive library of character creation and special effects video courses from Hollywood professionals, including Oscar and Emmy Award winners.

Rules

PRE-SELECTION:

Item 1. Conditions

Only films that meet the following conditions can receive the "Official Selection" status:

Films shot between January 01, 2025 and April 01, 2026

Films shot in any area of the world, except sensitive areas.

Films that have not been freely published.

Item 2. Duration of the movie

The film festival is open to participants:

short films lasting up to 40 minutes, including credits.

full-length films, lasting no more than 120 minutes, including credits.

Item 3. The Festival's admission Campaign

Standard filing: from 17.01.26-04.01.2026

Late submission: 04/02/26-04/20/2026

Item 4. Identification of production characteristics

Each film copyright holder must provide information on the number of personnel involved in the production of the film (including preliminary ones, provided accurate information is not available), as well as information on the equipment used (characteristics of the camera: manufacturer, make and model) and the budget of the film. The indicators that fall under the category of production performance identifiers are not public and are available to the Festival Management.

Item 5. Subtitles

Subtitles in English are required for foreign participants.

Item 6. Legal purity

Eternity Pictures conducts all its activities ethically, transparently and honestly, strictly complying with the law. In order to provide the winner of the festival with a path to our IP library and further digital release, we require impeccable legal purity of the content.

To do this, the copyright holder must provide a complete set of documents confirming the legality of all used elements.:

Contracts with the production team and cast.

Permissions to use all borrowed intellectual property rights (music, melodies, graphics, archival materials, etc.).

This requirement guarantees you and us security and opens the door to the global scale of your project.

Item 7. Can films from abroad be shown in Russia thanks to Eternity Pictures? The answer is Yes, in particular, there are more opportunities for non-commercial replenishment of the IP library of Eternity Pictures content.
