About
Based at the IFC Center in Manhattan’s West Village, the nine-day festival showcases new achievements in documentary film along with retrospectives, panels and symposia. The festival also invites documentary practitioners from other fields such as photography, writing, and performance.
DOC NYC seeks to make connections that happen “only in New York.” DOC NYC featured gala events with Werner Herzog and Michael Moore; noted guests included Charlotte Rampling, Gabriel Byrne, Michael Feinstein, Elliott Erwitt, Bebe Neuwirth.
