Athens International CineFest

About

Athens CineFest is an independent film festival located in beautiful Greece. The festival’s aim is to support aspiring filmmakers and promote the art of cinema to a worldwide audience.

The film competition runs on a monthly basis. Each month there will be a selection for every category. The twelve winning films of the category “best short film” will be showcased in the Athens CineFest Official Screenings in June.

Awards

All selected participants will receive laurels of Official Selection, while online certificate awards will be offered to the winners.

Rules

• All genres are accepted.
• Films should have a maximum length of 45 minutes.
• Multiple entries are accepted.
• Each filmmaker can submit several projects, but each entry must be accompanied by a separate entry and fee.
• There are no completion date requirements.
• None of the films will be shown online.
• The first Live Screening Event will take place in Athens (Greece) in June 2022.
• All fees are non-refundable.
• The Festival reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling.
• The filmmaker certifies to have full rights. Producer will indemnify the organizers of the Festival against all claims, demands, costs, damages, expenses (including legal fees), proceedings and losses resulting from the screening of the film at the Festival or from claims by any third parties.
