About

25 FPS Festival screens independent and non-commercial films which innovatively explore the possibilities of cinematic language, narration and the medium itself, cross film types and genres and broaden the notion of film as art. It promotes expressive original concepts, progresses in terms of theme, idea and aesthetics, as well as works that perpetuate the tradition of avant-garde and experimental film.

• EXPANDED CINEMA: Audiovisual performances, 
• FOCUS ON CROATIA,
• KINO 23: Fiction, documentary or animated features experimenting in cinematic language. Exceptional films often marked as cult, classics and masterpieces.

Awards

• Three Jury Grand Prix’s – Each member of the international jury (3) gives one equal cash prize;
• Critics’ Award – Three film critics/audiovisual theoreticians give one joined award;
• Green DCP Award – Professional DCP format for the Croatian film in the program; awarded by the Festival organizer;
• Audience Award – Awarded by the audience.

Rules

• Films and videos eligible for the application need to correspond to the festival profile described in General
• Films completed after 1 January 2022, and not longer than 60 minutes.
• Each author should submit not more than three works.

You can send your film on a DVD or via LINK streaming through Vimeo, YouTube and Google Drive channel. You CANNOT upload it or send it via file transfers (Dropbox, WeTransfer, Jumbo mail, etc.).
