DirectorBiography
Born to fencing world champion Leonid Dunaev and economist Larisa Dunaeva, Danila has been drawn to the stage since he was a child. In school he wrote poetry and plays that he would then stage himself. In 2002 he was admitted to one of the biggest theatre schools in Russia - the Schukin Institute of Theatrical Arts. Has since starred in 25 feature films, worked as a TV director and in 2013 he directed his debut short film “The Rabbit”, which has received awards at international film festivals in the United States, Germany and all over Russia.
