Directors Statement
The film "Elsa" was created as part of a coursework assignment for P.S. Lungin and I.L. Volkova's workshop on the topic "Meeting with an Angel." Initially, I had several ideas, but the idea of a blind man resonated with me the most. A person who cannot see sunlight, in my opinion, deserves to meet an angel. My great-grandfather also went blind in life, and this topic has long intrigued me. Special thanks to Pavel Semyonovich Lungin for helping me develop the idea into the script.
