DirectorBiography
Malika Mukhamejan was born in 1993 in Shu (Kazakhstan). In 2021 she graduated from VGIK (feature film directing class of A.A.Eshpai and V.A.Fenchenko). "Longer than a day" is her debut feature film, shot in Kazakhstan. Malika's work focuses on women's stories and themes of loneliness and alienation. She is the founder of QYZQARAS to support women filmmakers in Kazakhstan.
