About
The International Festival of Truthful Cinema (hereinafter referred to as the Festival) is a unique form of creative communication with young people and the younger generation.
The project has been running since 2022, and over this time, the Festival has attracted more than 406,000 viewers from 73 regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
In 2024, the Festival was granted international status and held a competition across 11 categories, with films evaluated by members of an international expert council. In 2025, The Festival is being organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. In January 2025, the Festival was held online.
The Festival's partner venues include regional cultural and educational institutions, historical and military history museums, as well as nationwide children's centers.

In each nomination, the Festival's prize - a statuette - is awarded. All Festival participants receive diplomas.
Rules
- Russian and foreign films (fiction, animated, documentaries full-length and short films and special reports) that were completed in 2023-2025 are accepted for participation in the Festival program.
- To participate in the selection, it is necessary to fill out an application form on the official website of the «Poklonka» cinema no later than March 14, 2025. Films sent after the specified date would not be accepted. The application must contain a closed link to the viewing copy of the film on cloud storages Yandex.Disk, Google.Disk, or Cloud Mail.ru (the link must be valid until the end of the Festival).
- If the film is submitted in languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation or using a foreign language, subtitles in Russian are required.
- Demonstration copies of films selected for screening in the Festival programs must be submitted to the Festival Directorate in the form of a link to any file-sharing service or ftp/sftp no later than March 14, 2025. Copies are accepted in DCP format (compatible with standard Doremi, Dolby and Christie media blocks) or fullHD/2K/4K (mp4 or mov containers, 25 FPS, video bitrate 15-35 Mbps, progressive scan, 2-channel stereo sound).
