About

Festival purposes are: 

• To increase the knowledge of, and respect for nature and wildlife among the general public
• To increase awareness among those in authority of the need to protect nature, wildlife and the environment
• To encourage the production of films dedicated to Nature by awarding prizes in a competition and diffusion on the big screen with a wide audience
• To promote meetings between professionals (film directors and distributors)
• To promote and spread limited budget productions
• To create forums and debate between film directors and the general public during the festival.

Rules

• Advertising, commercials and feature films are not eligible,
• Professional films about the discovery, protection and conservation of nature and wild life are eligible to take part in the competition if the creation is posterior to 2018, January 1st.
• The minimum duration is 5 minutes. There are no maximum requirements.

Documents and Other Requisite Items

• Each film will be entered on the online form
• Each film must be accompanied by 3 photos of the film and one of the director.
• The Selection copy must reach the secretariat if possible as data file.
• Accepted formats are: .mp4 and .mov
• Suitable supports are: upload files (in preference) : vimeo, youtube, ftp, dropbox, … / USB-keys / Hard drive
• USB-keys and HDD will be returned (within three months after the event) upon written request.
• If you don’t have a French version of your film, a script in French (if possible) or in English must be provided. The Festival will create the dubbing for presentation to the public.
