International Film Festival.


The aim of the Festival is to present new horizons in contemporary cinema in three competitions. The Festival presents the cinema that shows independent and brave themes, and takes up a non-trivial and original subjects. The Festival also emphasies to discover young and talented artists and also to carry on a wide promotional action of their films. The Festival is open  and  addressed to the filmmakers from all countries of the world.


  • Grand Prix—Golden Angel: Award of the Marshal of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship for the producer of the best film in the ON AIR Competition (20,000 PLN),
  • Silver Angel: Award of the Director of the Polish Film Institute for the director of the best film in the ON AIR Competition (20,000 PLN),
  • Golden Angel: Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland for the producer of the best film in SHORTCUT Competition (15,000 PLN),
  • Golden Angel: Audience Award for the producer of the best film in FROM POLAND Competition,
  • The award in LOCALIZATIONS Competition.

Honorary non-competititive Awards:

  • Flisak: Award of the Mayor of Toruń for the best artist from the region,
  • Award for Artistic Insolence to the outstanding character of Polish and European cinema,


  • Films produced in 2021 and 2022
  • For International competitions priority in selection is given to premiere films (i.e. those that were not presented in Poland at any festival held before the 15th edition of the Festival).
  • Submit via Filmfestivallife or register at the festivl site.
  • Entrants are required to provide a link to a website where the film can be watched. The link provided by the Applicant must be active all the time, until the end of the Festival.
  • The film must be attached with the following materials:
    • synopsis of the film,
    • film stills,
    • photo and biography of the director,
    • English dialogue list with time codes in digital format (online or on CD/DVD).
  • Following formats are eligible for festival screenings: Blu-Ray and DCP. DVD and 35 mm film copies are also accepted under special circumstances.

The competition is intended for feature films, documentaries and animations made in Poland or with the Polish co-production. Priority in selection is given to films outside regular distribution in cinemas.
