About

The main festival takes place in different central places and cinemas in Paris. During the year, the festival is invited to present selections of its program in festivals, cultural institutions and film schools worldwide. The programme is comprised of films, which reflect new views, original imagery and critical approach to the crucial points of the modern human existence. It is a place for cinema that expands its own boundaries, that is astonishing, different, potentially free from the pressure of tradition, ready to give itself to the unpredictable experiment.

Beside the international selections the festival presents programs from guest festivals and schools. Musical/sound contributions and short lectures, theatrical happenings or performances (always short) are also included to contribute to an animated ambiance of exchange.

Rules

• All films must have been completed on January 1st, 2020 or after.
• Short Film Competion: Max. 30 min. Other Competitions and Focus-Programs: no time limit 
• Allowed genres: fiction, documentary, experimental, video art.
• No pure animation films (mixed technique with animation is allowed).
• Submit via Filmfreeway.
