About

The Seoul International Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival (SESIFF) introduces various foreign extreme-short films to Korea and actively discovers and supports extreme-short film directors to contribute to Korea’s film development. SESIFF contributes in creating a cosmopolitan cultural environment where anyone can enjoy movies in various places beyond cinemas and through various channels.

The SESIFF is an international film festival consisted of competition, non-competition and production support program.

Awards

International Extreme-short/Short Film Competition

• Grand Award 5 000 000 KRW
• Special Jury Award 1 000 000 KRW
• Best Extreme-short Film Award 1 000 000 KRW
• Best Short Film Award 1 000 000 KRW
• Audience Award 1 000 000 KRW

International Subway Film Competition

• 1st Prize 2,000 EUR
• 2nd Prize 1,000 EUR
• 3rd prize 1,000 EUR

Rules

International Short Competition:

• Films completed after January of 2022, in any type of genre.
• 5 to 15 minutes in length.
• Films must not be submitted to SESIFF before.

International Subway Film Competition:

• There is no limit to the year of production.
• Less than 90 seconds in length.
• Films should be suitable for public showing.
• Films could be understood without sound and dialogues as it would be screened in subways (But you can use sound for the online and theater screening).

Submission:

• International Extreme-short/Short Film Competition: Register your film (not exceeding 2GB) at Shortfilmedepot.
