About

It aims at offering visibility to the short film genre, offering to its audience a careful selection of a number of short films submitted from all over the world. It therefore represents an interesting showcase, and wants to be a meeting point for short film directors and producers. Despite it is a rather young festival, since 2010 Sedicicorto has been the Italian short film festival with the largest number of submissions. Over the past few years, the audience has progressively grown in number.

MOVIE - International Fiction and Documentary Films,
ANIMALAB – International Animation & Experimental Films,
ANIMARE – International Animated Films for Children
CORTITALIA – National Films of any genre.

Awards

The first prize (open to all competitive sections) consists of the trophy Lumìn + 500 €

and will be awarded to the best film from each of the following sections: MOVIE - ANIMALAB - CORTITALIA - DOCUSHORT

Rules

The Film Festival is divided into 5 competitive sections and accepts submissions of any short film produced after 1st January 2022. The maximum running time allowed is 40 minutes (including credits).
Short films in languages other than Italian must include English or French or Italian subtitles, otherwise a complete dialogue list is required.

Hotel accommodation and meal vouchers will be provided in the forms decided by the organization and only one representative for each finalist will be entitled to it.
