About

The International Festival of Short Artistic Films and Short Animated Films, from children, for children and youth has already the status of an International festive activity. It has its own regulations regarding the competition of the films that will be part of this festival.

Long animated film and feature film for children:

•   Age 3 to 6 years old
•   Age 7 to 9 years old
•   Age 10 to 11 years old

Short animated film and short feature film for children:

•   Age 3 to 6 years old
•   Age 7 to 9 years old
•   Age 10 to 11 years old

Short animated film and short feature film for teenagers:

•   Age 12 to 14 years old
•   Age 15 to 16 years old

Short animated film and short feature film on children’s rights.

Short animated film and short feature film made by students for children and teenagers.

Short animated film and short feature film made by children.

In the special session, there will be presentation of films from partner festivals.

The evaluation of films in the “A-FestFilm” festival

• Best feature film for children and teenagers
• Best short film for children and teenagers
• Best short film for children’s rights 
• The best documentary for children’s rights
• The best student film for children

Special awards:

• The best animation for children
• For the special conception of children's rights
• The best short film performed by children
• New look for teenagers
• New look for students
• Best screenplay
• Best camera
• Best animation
• Best actor

Rules

• Films must be completed after January 11st, 2018. 

Special Conditions for professional applicants:

• The short film should not be longer than 21 minutes - Long Feature Film should not be longer than 85 minutes

Special Conditions for applicants from Students:

• The applicant, who is part of Animation Schools, does not have any limits in the number of the films that he/she can bring for competition.

Special conditions for Short Animated Films and Artistic Films made by Children:

• the main producer of the film must be a child or a group of children,
• films must be made by children under 13 years old.
