The theme of the films applying to Festival Contest is unrestricted but the films about Rotary’s 6 main Philosophy which are 

• WORLD PEACE,
• MOTHER AND CHILD HEALTH,
• CLEAN WATER AND HIGENE,
• PRIMARY READING AND WRITING,
• FIGHTING AGAINST DESEASES,
• ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT 

— will have priorityin contest.

Awards

• Rotary International Short Film Festival (ROFİFE) awards will be given to contestants who are selected to be in the first three places in each category «Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental»

Rotary International Short Film Festival (ROFİFE) Committee will present two «special prize» other then the ones mentioned above which are:

• D-2430 SPECIAL AWARD will be given to a film which has a theme of Rotary’s 6 main Philosophy which are WORLD PEACE, MOTHER AND CHILD HEALTH, CLEAN WATER AND HIGENE, PRIMARY READING AND WRITING, FIGHTING AGAINST DESEASES, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT in any category.
• FILM CLUB SPECIAL AWARD will be given to a film produced by Rotary, Rotaract, Interact Clubs that are chartered by Rotary International and/or members which is about the ‘’4 WAY TEST’’;
• Festival Grand Jury; after the evaluation; has the power to give more than one honorable mention awards.

Rules

• Competing films must be shot after January 2022. Films that are shot before are not accepted.
• The theme of the films applying to Festival Contest is unrestricted but the films about Rotary’s 6 main Philosophy which are WORLD PEACE, MOTHER AND CHILD HEALTH, CLEAN WATER AND HIGENE, PRIMARY READING AND WRITING, FIGHTING AGAINST DESEASES, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT will have priorityin contest.RI District 2430.
• Participating films will be limited to 20 minutes. (Including credits). If a film is more then specified time but in the means of Rotary ideals it is worth presenting, the participations of the film to the contest will be decided by the Rotary International Short Film Festival (ROFIFE) Committee.
• Screen size format can be 1.33, 1.37, 1.66, 1.85, 2.35.
• Film sound should be specified in the application form as Optic, Dolby stereo.
• The contest Language is English or Turkish. If the film is in another language there should be subtitles and subtitles language is preferred to be in Turkish.

Short films are to be uploaded to specified field in the web site. The attendants also should upload the following documents to be accepted to the festival:

• Application form should be filled completely.
• Film summary should be at most 400 (four hundred) characters in the specified area.
• Director biography and filmography should be in the specified area.
• At most 4 (four) behind the Scenes photograph maximum 1024*768 size and ‘’jpg, jpeg’’ format should be uploaded to specified area.
• Director photograph maximum 640-480 size and ‘’jpg,jpeg’’ format should be uploaded to specified area.
• If the film has a poster maximum 1024*768 size and ‘’jpg,jpeg’’ format should be uploaded to specified area.
• If applicable provide a list of the festivals and awards in the specified area.

Organised by «Rotary», the first and biggest Non-Governmental Organization of the World that enhances quality of lives of societies, targets to meet societal needs, operates becoming widespread of world peace and intercultural sympathy, and it has formed its main philosophy under six main topics indicated above.
