About

During 9 festival days, the Olhar de Cinema – Curitiba International Film Festival offers a wide and a good quality selection of independent films from around the world which have an innovative and committed character. With sense of urgency, this event was created to fill a gap in the Paranaense and Brazilian landscape of cinema. Making no requirement of Premieres, the festival’s goal is to promote reflection about cinema and develop different point of views by highlighting short and feature films that are not common in Brazilian theaters. Screenings. Discussions. Workshops. Seminar. Reflections.Training. Exchange of ideas. All these things in a dynamic and friendly atmosphere. Partnerships and opportunities being created around cinema.

Rules

• Films that have been publicly shown after April 2023.
• Brazilian Premiere is preferred for short films and feature films.
• Film is to be submitted via festival website (it is required to sign up an account)
• Subtitles language: Portuguese or English

Screening Media Type: DCP and ProRes
