Off‐Courts Trouville

About

With a program built around film, music, visual arts and new media produced in France and Quebec, Off-Courts is set to create a bridge between two continents. Since its foundation it has become a must on the short film festival circuit and has a constantly growing delegation of filmmakers, videographers, programmers and artists who come to promote diversity and originality of creation. In addition to film screenings, concerts and exhibitions, platforms for video, music and photo production are set up.

Program

• three France competitive programmes,

• a European and French speaking countries competitive programme,
• international noncompetitive programme,
• several programmes under specific topics.

Awards

France:

• City of Trouville‐sur‐Mer – Audience award – € 7,500 grant to make a short film which will open the festival 2015;
• Région Basse-Normandie – Jury award – € 3,000 grant;
• OFQJ award – Jury of students – 500 € + business trip to Quebec for a French filmmaker;
• Unifrance Films / RTP2 Onda Courta award – Subtitles for a French film (worth $ 1,500) and a purchase from RTP2;
• Critics Award;

Rules

• All productions must have been produced after January 1st, 2022
• All films must be under 40 minutes,
• List of eligible countries for Euroffrancophonie award can be found in the Regulations.

All films must be submitted through the platform Shortfilmdepot.

Shipping (one way) is paid by the participants. The festival will take care of the return fees.

All films submitted will automatically be subscribed to the international short film market freely.
