The New York International Short Film Festival (NY Shorts Fest) showcases the finest short-form cinema from around the world to enthusiastic audiences in the vibrant filmmaking enclave of New York City.

The NY Shorts Fest offers short-form filmmakers an ideal platform to screen their film and gain recognition in the heart of New York City.

NY Shorts Fest events include receptions, as well as workshops and master classes with industry experts and top filmmaking professionals sharing their practical advice to attending filmmakers. The heart of the festival will be our quality and scope of extraordinary film programming.

Rules

• Films must have been completed after August 1, 2024 and  must NOT have screened in any film festival in New York City.
• Works-in-progress will be considered, provided they will be completed prior to the festival.
