The aim of the festival is to explore the visual landscape of the Siberian region and support filmmakers from Siberia. Despite the challenges of harsh climates, logistical hurdles, and budget constraints, cinema in Siberia continues to evolve, often making its way into international festival lineups and building an engaged local audience.

Awards

• A grant of 200,000 rubles for the production of the next film
• A spot in the "Editing Directing" course by the online school Bang Bang Education
• Special prizes from partners, the Seance magazine, and the Word Order bookstore

Rules

Films eligible for the MOSFF competition program must have a runtime of up to 30 minutes and be created by Siberian filmmakers or filmed in Siberia no earlier than 2021.
