About

Long Key International Film Awards (LKIFA) was founded in 2020 by Russian producer Leonid Khromov. Long Key is an independent platform for international cinema, where bright and ambitious beginners and experienced filmmakers can present their films to the international community.

The LKIFA jury consists of creative and vibrant people who are professionals in their fields (actors, producers, directors, film critics, etc.). Full-length and short-length feature films and animated films.

Since 2026, LKIFA have been considering music videos, film trailers and teasers, as well as AI teasers.

Films from 64 countries of the world participate in the film awards.

In 2023, the award rebranded. Old name: Leonid Khromov International Film Festival.

Main award (Grand Prix): Best Feature Film (Diploma + $1000). The prize is awarded to feature films. The producer receives the prize.

Rules

MOVIE REQUIREMENTS

  • Short and full-length films that were filmed not earlier than January 1, 2025 are accepted for participation in the Awards. Duration of short feature films: no more than 30 minutes (including titles). Duration of feature films: over 60 minutes (including titles).
  • The film must be recorded in Full HD (1920x1080).
  • All non-English films must be with English subtitles.
  • All films must be submitted through the FilmFreeway or Festhome online platforms. In some cases, exceptions are allowed when the film director, for technical reasons, cannot send his film through the online platform.
  • Incomplete films will be considered on condition that they are completed before the start of the Awards.
  • Premiere requirements. To participate in the Awards, the screening of a film does not have to be premiere.
  • A Director and Producer can submit more than one film, but for this he must fill out a separate application for participation and pay a fee for each film.

Jury and Organizers

Leonid Khromov (Russia). President of the Long Key International Film Awards. Chairman of the jury. Director, producer, screenwriter, actor. Founder of the production company O29 Production. Producer of the Actress Universe Awards. Former organizer of international beauty contests.

Ramesh Kumar Kannan (USA). Multi award winning music composer. He holds an associated diploma in music from the Trinity Guildhall College in London and a graduate certificate in scoring for motion pictures and television from the University of Southern California's Thornton school, who took part in writing compositions for such famous international film projects as Minions, Mad Max and others, as well as for the game Assassins.

Haritha Gogineni (India). Indian Director and Producer.
Winner of the Best Director award for the film Fear at the 5th Long Key Awards 2024.

Yulia Milshina (Russia). Actress, producer. Founder of the film company MilshFilm.
