On October 31-31, Kiev will host the IV International Children's Film Festival "Kids Movie Fest".

MDKF "Kids Movie Fest" invites you to take part in the festival
young directors aged 8 to 18, as well as group work of film schools, studios and other screen projects.

Kids Movie Fest is a competition of films made by the children of our planet.

We are the only Ukrainian film festival that has a special nomination for young directors with hearing problems.

Short films (from 1 to 15 minutes) participate in the competition. Films of different genres: feature films, documentaries, music videos, commercials, poems, animation videos.

The festival welcomes films produced by both a group of children and individual independent young directors.

We do not accept films made by adult professional directors.

Awards

AWARDS AND PRIZES

Festival statuettes and diplomas will be awarded to the winners of all 20 nominations.

Young directors will receive prizes and gifts from guests, partners of the festival and the jury.

The main prize of the national competition is a certificate for the free purchase of a ticket to the Carpathian film camp "Kids Movie Camp".

The main prize of the international competition is a technical surprise from the sponsor of the film festival.

The main audience award is the shooting equipment from the main sponsor of the Film Festival.

The main prize in the category "Films from children with hearing impairments" - shooting equipment from Megogo.

All winners will be awarded certificates to the Cinema Museum from the Dovzhenko Center.

• The best idea of the film
• Best operator's work;
• Best female role;

• The best sound solution;
• Audience Award.

Nominations in the competition of children's animation:

• For the idea of the film;
• For technical performance of the film;

In addition, the children's jury makes selection in the following categories:

• For the relevance of the topic
• The most sad movie;
• The most honest film;
• The most hilarious movie.

Rules

KMF invites young directors from 8 to 18 years old to take part in the fest.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

• The age of participants must be from 8 to 18 years.
• Participants are allowed to submit movies made not earlier than 2017.
• The duration of the submitted movie should not exceed 15 minutes.
• Media Type for selection: Internet.
• Media Type to display: FULL HD.
• Language: original.
• Subtitle language: Ukrainian / English.
