All-Russian Gerasimov Film Festival-Competition

About

The All—Russian Gerasimov Film Competition is one of the largest screenings of children's film creation in the Urals. Its goal is to popularize and develop school cinematography in the Russian Federation and neighboring countries.  For the seventh year now, through the Film Competition, we have been encouraging children's creativity in the field of cinematography, animation, journalism and new media, as well as supporting teachers of children's and youth film schools.

• Best film in the category "Young Guard"
• Best film in the category "Teacher"
• Best film in the nomination "To love a person"
• Best film in the nomination "Big Earth"
• The best film in the nomination "By the lake"
• The best film in the nomination "Journalist".

The participants of the Film Contest who are among the nominees (shortlist) are awarded with "Diplomas of participants". Managers / curators of competitive works that have become laureates of the Film Competition are awarded with "Diplomas of managers".

Rules

1. Groups of authors (municipal and private film, television and video studios working in the systems of general and additional education of children) and individual authors of school age are invited to participate in the Film Competition.
2. Competitive work must be performed by students of grades 1-11 who have not reached the age of 18, residing on the territory of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries. In the works of groups of authors (film, television and video studios), the participation of an adult representative as a project manager/curator is allowed.
3. The competition work must correspond to the theme of the film competition (see clause 5.1. of the Regulations).
4. The date of creation of competitive works is not earlier than 2022.
5. Timing of competitive works - no more than 30 minutes.

The film competition is held by the Chelyabinsk Regional Film Center named after S. A. Gerasimov with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Chelyabinsk region.
