The aspect "religion" is a decisive criterion of the program selection which reflects at the same time the most important tendencies of international arthouse cinema. The festival plays an important role in the cultural life of Israel and attracts a large and very interested audience. Attractive cash prizes as well as friendly and casual atmosphere facilitate intense contacts with the attending journalists and industry people. Some of the foreign films presented are bought by Israeli distributors.

Rules

• No prior screening in Israel.
• ​The festival does not accept submissions of short and medium-length films (up to 60 minutes).
• Any film that is solely promotional, educational, or scientific in nature is not eligible for selection by the festival.
• Only online screeners are accepted as preview screeners for pre-selection.
