Jameson CineFest

About

Since the first CineFest in 2004 the Miskolc festival is on a promising way to became a major Central European film event. Year by year, the CineFest International Film Festival Miskolc attracts thousands of film fans and visitors from the whole world. Many attractive supplementary programs - exhibitions, workshops, roundtable discussions - will accompany the nightly screenings. Some fine concerts, film history workshops and a retospectives will accompany the event.

Categories:

• Long feature films (60 minutes or longer),
• Short feature films, experimental films (shorter than 30 minutes),
• Documentary films (shorter than 60 minutes),
• Animation films.

Rules

• In the short film categories only productions made after or in 2022 may be entered.
• Long feature films — 70 minutes or longer. Short feature films — shorter than 30 minutes.
• Subtitles language: English
• The Jameson CineFest screens only Hungarian premieres.
• The number of entries is not limited. The category of the entry must be specified by marking one of the competition categories offered in the entry form. 
• To enter a long feature film the entry form shall be filled out completely and sent by mail or email. The film must be sent on DVD or via videosharing website.

Premiere Requirements

National premiere required.
