Imaginaria Festival starts with the demand to partecipate in the process of cinematic language mutations that redefine the iconography of our time. Imaginaria launches a new experience: to create an ideal connection between the international and independent cinema and the autors and movements of the digital scenarios. An eccentric and unusual journey compared with the national cinematic programme. The meeting between technological innovation and creativity represents today a new perspective where to find movie and shortmovie, film and digital, musicvideoclip, web downloading and videoart installations.

Imaginaria, from 2014, is launching a new experience: to join, in a natural continuity, animation films and the most innovative international movements of illustration and graphic novels. An event than ever eccentric and “specialized” than the usual regional audiovisual programming.

The encounter between the animation films, illustration and graphic novels is today the real challenge for Imaginaria, its natural evolution / vocation placing itself as the only international event of its kind among all the audiovisual events of the Apulia region and beyond.

Rules

Restirctions

• Films must have been completed after December 2021.
• Competitive entries must not have commercial distribution in Italy to be eligible.

The following items MUST accompany all entry forms.

• Digital HD file with English or Italian subtitles (720p/1080p – H.264 – MOV - MP4). You can upload the work on a file sharing website (eg dropbox, wetransfer, 4shared, etc..); 
• Short Synopsis (by email);
• One line Synopsis (by email);
• Director’s Biography (by email);
• n.1 B&W or color stills of director (we prefer JPEG/TIFF 300 DPI by email);
• n.2 B&W or color stills of film (we prefer JPEG/TIFF 300 DPI by email);
• Complete principal credits list (by email).
