Time to remember

About

The week of Russian short films "Time to Remember" is dedicated to the last tsar of all Russia - the first Russian Emperor Peter I. The state reformer of the 17th-18th centuries, the founder of the city of St. Petersburg, the creator of the regular Russian navy. 

Festival objective

Search and discovery of new talents in all regions of Russia, presentation of their work to the Jury, support for the creative searches of young filmmakers, discovery of new names, expansion of the country's film geography.

Festival Goals

• Preservation of the memory of the Great State reformer of the 17th-18th centuries, the founder of the city of St. Petersburg, the creator of the regular Russian navy and the education of young people in the spirit of patriotism through art dedicated to the history of the reign of Peter 1, the history of St. Petersburg, the history of the creation of the Russian navy fleet.
• Development and popularization of national culture, art and folk art
• Drawing attention to the history of transformations in state and public life carried out during the reign of Peter I in Russia

Film Week is planned as an annual international event!

Awards

Winners of the Film Week are awarded with diplomas, prizes and cups.

Fiction short films/Documentary short films/Video poetry/News story: 

• best script
• best director
• best operator
• the Grand Prix

The Festival Jury may award participants with special Jury diplomas.

Rules

Fiction, documentary, short films produced in 2021-2022 are accepted to participate in the competition program of the film week.

The following are accepted for consideration and participation in the Competition Program:

• feature films and documentaries from 3 to 10 minutes.
• News story and video poetry up to 5 minutes.
