All-Russian Inclusive Film Festival «Invisible Cinema»

The first inclusive film festival in the Urals

About

"Invisible Cinema" is the first inclusive film festival in the Urals. It brings together creators with disabilities and filmmakers who tell stories about people with disabilities. Our mission is to show the public life-affirming films and offer a different look at the problem of the “other” in the modern world.

The inclusive festival is a launching pad for people with disabilities who are involved in creativity in the field of cinema, animation and video production. This is a chance to be heard, show your film on the big screen and compete for the main prize.

For professional filmmakers, this is an opportunity to take part in a thematic festival where attention to issues of inclusion is valued: heroes with disabilities and the volunteers who help them, social organizations and rehabilitation centers.

Awards

Within the framework of the Film Festival, winners in the following categories are identified and awarded:

• Best feature film;
• Best documentary film;
• Best animated film;
• Best television format;
• Best children's film;
• Grand Prix of the festival

The first degree winners are awarded statuettes and winners' diplomas. The second and third degree winners are awarded winners' diplomas and memorable gifts.

Special prize - broadcast of the best winning films on the federal TV channel "ART", which is the key partner of the project.

Rules

Participants of the film festival may be:

✓ People with disabilities engaged in creative work in the field of audiovisual technologies (cinema, animation, video production, television);

✓ Normotypical authors who make films and other audiovisual works about people with disabilities.

Applicants from other countries are allowed to participate if the competition work corresponds to the theme of the Film Festival and is understandable to the Russian-speaking audience (accompanied by Russian subtitles, simultaneous Russian-language translation, or no translation is required).
