Gorky fest

About

«Gorky fest» is a competition of contemporary Russian cinema. Films of different genres and forms are included into a competition program: shorts, novels, experimental films and a bold documentary.

Festival's mission is to show film language's development and classical form's transformation.

Festival aim is to present characters of Russian cinema to a contemporary audience as well as unite local filmmakers to form a professional community and a production place for both Russian and foreign artists.

Rules

• The following films are eligible for participation: fiction, animation, documentary. They could be features, shorts or novels.
• Film is to be completed in 2023 — 2024.
• Films made in Russia or in coproduction.
• Film submission is available via online entry form on festival's site. An online screener link (Vimeo or Youtube) is to be provided.
