The Gérardmer International Fantastic Film Festival is dedicated to the Fantasy genre under all its forms: science-fiction, horror, supernatural, etc...

The aim of the Gérardmer International Fantastic Film Festival is to promote (in France and in Europe) films of the fantasy genre, offering them a "quality label" that guarantees a growing impact on general audiences.

The Gérardmer International Fantastic Film Festival consists of the following three sections: - one international competitive feature fiction films section - one international non-competitive feature fiction films section - one competitive short films section, open to French-speaking countries only

Awards

An international Jury composed of celebrities will award the following prizes:

• The Grand Prize
• The Jury Prize

Rules

To be eligible for the Gérardmer International Fantastic Film Festival, films must fulfil the following conditions:

1. Features are to be either a French or foreign feature films (fiction or non-fiction), produced in 2023 or 2024, of at least 75 minutes. 
2. Film is to have its French premiere in Gérardmer (for our competition section only) and have not been shown in a major European film festival (unless in the context of a film market). 

All films must be submitted in DVD or via a streaming link format for the selection. The email address where to send a link with a completed entry form is the following: jlasserre@lepublicsystemecinema.fr.
