About

The Female Eye Film Festival is Ontario’s one and only annual international independent film Festival showcasing films directed by women. The Female Eye is a juried competitive film festival and presents films by debut, emerging and internationally recognized directors. The Script Development Program is open to male writers as well with the provision that their script feature a female protagonist. The FeFF selectively presents a few short films co-directed by a male /female team annually.

Rules

• Shorts: maximum 40 minutes;
• All films must be directed by a woman;
• Projects completed after 01-Jan-2022.
• Student Fees.
• The FeFF accepts electronic submissions through FilmFreeway.com and Vimeo. Mailed DVD's  (NTSC) also accepted.
• The flat entry fee is $100 to be considered in-competition is applicable to all deadlines re: Early, Regular, Late and Extended, and applies to all films, in all genres, and lengths, along with screenplays. The onus is on the filmmaker, producer(s) and screenwriters to decide if their project can compete on an international level.
