Concorto Film Festival

About

The Association Concorto is glad to organize “Concorto Short Film Festival” to promote the expressive and artistic form of short film and to give more visibility to independent authors and directors.

Awards

The short films compete for the following awards:

• Gran Premio  «Asino d’Oro»: 2000 € and trophy,
• Special Jury Prize: 500 € and plaque,
• «The Wave» (assigned by a jury of high schools students): 500 € and plaque,
• Audience Award: 500 € and plaque.

The selection committee, the artistic direction and the jury can also award special mentions.
The prizes will be awarded the last day of screenings.
Prize money will be paid to the winners by bank transfer.

Rules

• Entry to the festival is free and open to all sort of short films, with no limitations regarding the theme and genre.
• The films should have been produced in 2023 or 2024.
• The maximum running time allowed is 20 minutes. In exceptional cases the festival organization reserves the right to accept films of longer duration.
• Acceptable screening format: digital file (Apple ProRes 422 or H264) or DVD (region 0/2, pal).
• The submissions are only open through Shortfilmdepot. 
• Online screener or DVD (reserved to film schools, production/distribution companies, or film promotion institutions that would like to submit more than one film, by different directors). Contact us by email at iscrizioni@concorto.com, sending us the list of concerned films, with indication of director, duration and genre.
• Subtitles language: English, French or Italian
