About

The main purpose of the CineMAiubit International Student Film Festival is to promote students, works, debate and consolidate the links between film schools.

Program

• “Fiction“: the competition will present a selection of student productions screened. Films longer than 30 minutes will not be considerred;
• “Documentary”: the competition will present a selection of student productions;
• "Animation / Experiment": the competition will present a selection of student productions;
• Retrospectives: decided each year by the organizers;
• CINE-RITM film music program, realised in colaboration with the National University of Music Bucharest: it's purpose - to form teams of directors-composers able to develop original music for films;
• MiniMIDPOINT Screenwriting Workshop: organized in partnership with Midpoint Consotrium; 
• Other events: book and DVD launch, parties, master classes etc.

Awards

The awards of the Festival will be made public at the beginning of the event.

Restirctions

• “Fiction“: the competition will present a selection of student productions screened in 35mm or DCP. Films longer than 30 minutes will not be considerred.
• Films completed after 2021

Documents and Other Requisite Items

Send DVD with submitted film by mail. 

When sending the entry form, the owner of the film must send in electronic format the following material (CD attached to the entry form of via e-mail at: cinemaiubit@gmail.com):

• poster(s);
• 3 b/w or colour photographs/stills of film-scenes;
• synopsis of the film;
• cast and credits.

Additional Information

Films should reach our offices absolutely by November 15th 2014.
