Festival of Street Cartoons

About

Street Cartoon Festival is a competition to open young talented animators from 4 to 23 years old. The jury of the competition includes directors of the film studio "Soyuzmultfilm", the animation studio "Parovoz", teachers of the animation and multimedia faculty of VGIK and the animation faculty of the University "Synergy".

Over the period of 21/22, 2000 young animators from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, the USA, Israel, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan took part in the festival. The guys created animated films using plastic, wool, cotton wool, cardboard and even breakfast cereals.

Awards

The winners of the Festival will receive electronic personal diplomas, animation courses from "Soyuzmultfilm", the University "Synergy", the courses THINKERS 2.0 (for screenwriters) from the animation school "MultFilin".

Rules

Applications for the Street Cartoon Festival are accepted since 1 September until 1 December, 2023.

CARTOON REQUIREMENTS

1. MP4 format (standard smartphone recording format). A cartoon can be created using ordinary shooting and subsequent editing in any mobile editor;

2. Duration up to 5 minutes;

3. Cartoons must be filmed no earlier than 2022;

4. In the application, you must indicate your contact information: name, school, class with a letter, e-mail, phone.
