International Children and Young People’s Film Festival in Malmö.
About
BUFF Film Festival is the most important forum for film for children and youths in the Nordics. During the six days with screenings both day and night about 100 films are presented to the public, many of which might have never been shown outside this festival. The main objectives of this event is to familiarize children with the world of cinema and about the influence of film in society, to help them learn more about other cultures and see things in a broader perspective. Films that that touch, engage and make the viewer ask questions are 100% BUFF.
BUFF is a meeting place for people working with children, young people and film. The festival arranges seminars and discussions for teachers, film-makers and cultural workers aiming to inspire the children and youth film.
