About
Anim!Arte is an international festival of animated films with a focus on student audience. It has as objective to stimulate the culture, and the artistic growth of the youth Animation. This must be achieved by encouraging the production of animated films, especially among students.
For International Students (students from around the world) , there are two categories in the competition: Mini (under 18 years) and Maxi (18 years or over). The best international student animations will win the Anim!Arte trophies and certificates.
There are also 3 exclusive categories (only for Animation short films) just for students who are enrolled in educational institutions in Brazil: University Students, High School Students, and Students of Elementary Education.
For International Professionals there's three categories: "Environmental films", "World Cultures", and a new category "Sports Films", created in honor of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Rio 2016)
