About

The animago AWARD acknowledges the best works in the entire spectrum of digital media production. The awards are presented during the animago CONFERENCE that brings together representatives of creative communities working in all digital fields. Leading experts showcase the latest high-end technologies and modern approaches.

Awards

This year the animago contest will be announced in the following categories: 

• Best Short Film,
• Best Character,
• Best Young Production (3,000 euro),
• Best Visualisation,
• Best Advertising Production,
• Best Trailer/Opener,
• Best Postproduction,
• Best Still (via public voting),
• Jury's Prize.

Rules

• Projects completed anywhere in the world after 1 January 2016.
• Still: predominantly created using 3D software;
• Film/Stereo 3D Film: 3D software as well as compositings;
• Interactive: works allowing users to control how and in which order information is presented to them, for exampe DVDs, interactive visualizations, plug-ins, games, mobile applications, installations.

All works can be submitted online only.

The number of entries is not restricted. If you register more than one entry, you may send them in one package or even on a single storage media. 

You should notice on the envelope: "Educational material with no commercial value".

The organisers will cover the hotel costs of 2 people for a maximum of 2 nights at a prearranged hotel that is a contract partner of ATEC Business Information GmbH. Tickets to the animago CONFERENCE will also be provided for 2 guests 
per nominated submission free of charge. Travel costs will not be covered.
